One Shake. Pure Magic.
Bought a week ago and used it on practically every dish I've made. Great on chicken - amazing on fries.
Utterly delicious. Killer mashed spuds.
Can't put my finger on what's in it, but my god it's good.

One tin. Endless possibilities. Here are three ways Shay used it.
In the Flour
Mix Magic Dust into your seasoned flour before dredging chicken, fish or onion rings. It gets into the crust and stays there. Blooming onions, fried chicken, crispy calamari - the coating does the work.
Try it on: fried chicken, blooming onion, fish goujonsIn the Marinade
Add a tablespoon to olive oil, lemon juice or yoghurt and let your meat sit for an hour. A little goes a long way - the blend is balanced enough to flavour without overpowering. Works on everything from chicken thighs to lamb chops.
Try it on: chicken thighs, lamb, pork shoulderAs a Seasoning Salt
Shake it on at the end. Fries straight from the fryer, roast potatoes out of the oven, corn on the cob, scrambled eggs. The finishing shake is where Magic Dust earns its name - one shake and you know.
Try it on: fries, roast potatoes, corn, eggsSeven Ingredients. No Fillers. No Nonsense.
Shay kept it simple. Salt, peppers, onion, garlic, cayenne, celery - perfectly balanced so the food does the talking, not the seasoning.
No artificial flavours. No preservatives. No compromise.
Stuff We Get Asked a Lot
What is Shay's Magic Dust?
Shay's Magic Dust is an everyday seasoning salt — used in place of salt, not alongside it. Brilliant on everything from fries to roast chicken to eggs. A little goes a long way. It's Shay's original formula, unchanged.
What's in Magic Dust?
Magic Dust contains salt, white and black pepper, garlic, onion, cayenne, paprika, mustard powder, celery seed, cornflour and MSG. No artificial colours or preservatives. Full ingredients list is on the tin.
Does Magic Dust contain any allergens?
Magic Dust contains celery (celery seed) and mustard (mustard powder), both EU-declared allergens bolded on the label. Always check the tin before use if you have a known allergy to either.
How do I use Magic Dust?
Use it like salt — in place of salt, not in addition to it. A light touch is all it takes. Use it as a finishing seasoning, lightly before cooking on fatty cuts, or mixed into flour for breading. If you would normally add salt, use Magic Dust instead.
Can I use Magic Dust as a finishing seasoning?
Yes — this is one of its best uses. A light dusting on fries, roast potatoes, grilled meat, fish, eggs or vegetables after cooking adds savoury depth that salt alone never quite achieves. A little goes a long way.
Can I use Magic Dust in seasoned flour for breading?
Yes. Mix Magic Dust into plain flour in place of salt and pepper to create a seasoned coating for chicken fillets, chops, fish or steak. Start with one teaspoon per 100g of flour and adjust to taste. Do not add extra salt alongside it.
What are the best things to use Magic Dust on?
Fries and roast potatoes, chicken wings and thighs, roast chicken, seasoned flour for breading, eggs, grilled or pan-fried fish, and roasted vegetables. Anywhere you would normally reach for salt.
